I bought the drive to replace the missing LW in the current iMac 21 ".

It has let problermlos via the USB interface to connect with the iMac and is also recognized directly in the Control Panel. The lack eject button I see as no disadvantage, since the current iMac an eject button is integrated directly on the keyboard - this the LW can be easily operated.

The LW is a bit noisy in operation - but I do not feel this is more disturbing. The reading and writing speed for DVD and CD's fine.
