I have always felt that this album was Supertramp prior to Crime Of The Century, yet appeared 1 year ago. This undoubtedly comes from the impression a bit "rough" that emerges from this a bit messy drive. The compositions have probably deserved better orchestrations, notammment very good: A Soapbox Opera, Sister Moonshine and The Meaning. Remains a formidable Poor Boy where John Helliwell (Saxo and wind instruments) proves as rarely in the album extent of his talent. Other pieces in the true spirit of this legendary group are also rediscovered. We forget a bit this album which is yet one of the most significant Super Bums.
