Can the assessment of Sven Leischner not understand and therefore wants to look at other aspects:
I for one am totally satisfied with the Carino. As Denon sympathizer I pre-ordered my Carino at my local dealer of trust, as my be anywhere in the Logitech system should be replaced by something quality. Use them now about 1 week and absolutely love it.
Sound quality we all know from Denon. Despite its compact size, the system can be a real ruckus, even at low passages. Heights are really clearly reproduced, here you just notice the difference between a computer accessory manufacturers (Logitech) and a hi-fi brand (Denon). Who is not yet rummst enough also can connect another active subwoofer.
The installation is simple -> "Playback Devices" Carino selected as default player and losgespielt.
The nice extra Bluetooth Streamens was no direct selling point for me, but more often is used as previously believed with me. And by APTX is the music transferred in an acceptable quality - I like :-)
The look is very high quality and classy despite plastic housing. Have you bought me in white, a real eye-catcher on my desk. Here it should be mentioned that the device can be completely operated by touch on the front. So you can quickly select the desired input, adjust the volume and set specific DSP modes.
The supplied remote control is not required (in my opinion) and lies after a brief look back in the box. Namely imagine a scenario in which I could use this to me:
- Unit turns on automatically when I connect via Bluetooth
- Power turns off automatically when no sound is reproduced
- I use them on a laptop (have the Carino connected to a docking station), I can use this on the front
Overall, one can say that the Carino is a high quality, elegant speaker system. Of course, the price of 350, - in the first instance not cheap when you consider that there are such systems already for 50. However, you just noted here a real difference in quality, from the sound quality to feel / look. For me, the Carino's worth every Euro :-)
