Incorrect transmission technology

I have the equipment bought earlier this year, but relatively quickly sent back because it was not able to convince me.
First, what about the technology.
I have tested it on an Iphone 5 a 5S and an Ipad Air and all have to hold immense problems connecting to Bluetooth. Sometimes it took forever until it has connected and at + - 1 m distance from the device if it has connected, has lost it's usually after a few meters the connection, so I did not even reach the 40 meters, most often it is already breaking at around + - 20m or less together. I think you would also rather we should rely on the Wifi T-pod of VEXILAR, the specified range is more than twice as far and I have been significantly more litters without connection demolition as the Deeper. According to the manufacturer of a current app or it is meanwhile perhaps already out there that can probably hike the rigid Bluetooth signal the Smartphone, so that you at any position of your smartphone an optimal connection to the Deeper has. However, I had due to the running return time trying this out of time. The connection problem could therefore be solved.

For software:

Unlike the T-Pod by VEXILAR the software is outside a lot more appealing and extensive and especially easier to use. In the coming update then there should also be a representation of the soil hardness. If it was connected, it let out a beautiful card that can also be read well. Water temperature and depth was given my opinion again realistic. If a given fish really always is a fish that is questionable.

Processing / Accessories / Design / Instructions:

Processing I find very good, a really high-quality product for that matter, it is not a cheap plastic but high quality plastic, the design is very discreet and space-saving. There is also a battery charger for home and one for the cigarette lighter and a quiver with clip which you can store the Deeper conveniently.
The instructions are in my opinion quite poor, you could go down more on how exactly the device is read.

Conclusion: The only thing that really bothered me was the lack of range, which is fixed possibly with the new software.. However, on two weeks right to return, I would take a chance with time on trying. Would it put on wifi technology, it would be a great product, which in optics and operation appeals to me more than my T-Pod.
