RRP is 39.90 euros, I bought it here at Amazon for 30 €. Given the amount of parts a quite reasonable price. The manual for the B-model, after all, per model 2 books, also is - very commendable!
Optical measurements and scale:
Bulldozer I know only from the TV / Internet, but there seem to be some size technically true monster. When looking compares the driver's cab with the rest of the model then you get a good feel for the real size. The model is the Lego designers really well, it looks realistic and impressive and is also not fully dressed. Thus, the features of this model are clearly visible.
The model is 16.5 cm wide, almost 30cm long and 15cm high, depending on the vane position.
Parts composition:
Encouraging balanced. Except for the chains there are hardly any special parts, which makes the model very interesting as parts donor. The grille is constructed for example from racks and thus later good reusable for steering. In addition, the Bulldozer dominated the color yellow, with a bit of black and gray, which fits perfectly with my 90s Lego fundus. Stickers and veneers, there is hardly what makes me very happy. I simply pasted the delusion behind the cab. Technology:
Since the model is not "disguised" they open the functions for laymen easily. Already in building you can imagine the subsequent functions well. This promotes to the technical understanding of the beginning. It has a good look at the differential, the drive train and the inner workings of the engine. The rear worm gear of the "plow" is clearly visible, only the front worm gear is somewhat obscured.
Difficulty:
Moderate in my eyes. Etc. Complicated gear are not present here, only the differential requires a bit of tact. Younger architects may need in the cylinders of the V4 engine some support. The chain links are very robust and easily plugged together on a tabletop.
Features:
The raising and lowering of the blade is done by worm gear which is beautifully integrated in the form of the exhaust in the model. The mechanism has little game and is dosing well and with little effort. In addition, there is an endless transmission: If you stubbornly only turns in one direction and then lifts the bucket lowers as long as you just rotate. The worm gear for the "plow" at the rear can be operated by a catchy and well adjustable gear behind the cab. Benefit of both worm gear is that the shovel and the plow remain fixed in the set position and not be lowered retroactively.
The two chains of the bulldozer transmit the force through a differential to the engine and move there the cylinders of the engine. Thanks to the differential, this works even if one of the two chains does not move about during a rotation of the bulldozer on the spot. Playability:

Conclusion:
A Lego Technic model, how I like it: Reasonable price, very many universal and multi-way components, no "special parts" with very eigeschränkten reuse value, no "stickers tide" that makes the components in the Lego box on permanent unsightly related illusions and nachbaubare technology and ultimately a good play value with a corresponding Stabiliät.
