Many performers tend to bring out albums that contain exactly the pieces that you already know of them already. Mark Seibert's solo, however, is very varied, yet consistent. From "As long as I've got you" apart from Wicked once, can be heard on the CD only pieces that have been published in any other musical album by him, even though he played the roles of some (eg, Radames in Aida).
All songs are well suited to his type and his voice, the duet partners have been carefully selected and harmonize beautifully. Positive I feel also that not only the "normal" songs pieces were selected, but that here the mix of classics (West Side Story), current (Tarzan) and maybe some lesser known (Next to Normal) fits.
A Pluspunkt- for me also to want to make a beautiful song on Devil come-out something new because, often goes wrong and is rarely wanted - The Arragements was not experimenting!
A truly beautiful album that I like each of musicals would warmly recommend!
PS: This review is not based on guesswork - album already to buy, although not yet at Amazon, where it is to have until early April.
