CD 1: "So" (remastered 2011)
The tracklist same as the original, only the sequence is modified slightly: "In Your Eyes" was on the original of the 5th track; on the newly-remastered CD's "In Your Eyes" 9 track. This has always been so provided, but was then rejected because the bass decreased near the center of the record. PG is explained in the book as follows:
"The final song on 'So' is 'In Your Eyes'. One of the Things That people tend to forget about vinyl is indeed Although it had wonderful, warm sound quality, the grooves start off big and get smaller and smaller as the spiral Approaches the Centre. That Means That The Closer to the center of the record the needle gets, the less it can move, Because The circle is becoming tighter and tighter. In turn This Means you can not have as much bass on the last couple of tracks on each side of a vinyl album. So if you want a big, fat bass sound, Which I love, on a vinyl record you've got to put it early on the tracklisting for the side. That's why 'In Your Eyes' Became the first track on the vinyl. On CD it's fine just to have it in the position it did what Intended to be, at the end. "
CD 2: "So DNA"
Here, each of the 9 songs from demo recordings and early Takes is cut together very cleverly. The aim of the listeners get a sense of how the songs have developed in the nearly year-long production.
What's interesting for PG fans: you can hear PGs improvisations while singing! He usually sings no real text, such as in "A Different Drum" from "Passion" album.

"Do not Give Up" - 8:11 Min.
"In Your Eyes" - 12:32 Min.
"Mercy Street" - 9:09 Min.
"Sledgehammer" - 5:32 Min.
I am enthusiastic about the sound of the CD and the 24-bit versions! The wealth of information about the way production obtained about the book and the film, and the DNA-CD and of course the "Live in Athens" concert, do not look so high price. Certainly the deluxe box set needs no one who just wants to hear "So" in a newly remastered version. That's what the cheaper CD versions.
The box set might have looked perfect when the previous B-side songs such as "Curtains" or "Do not Break This Rhythm" would have been possible. But well; "So" that's not bad also. ;-)
