For me, the investment has paid off, as I can continue to use a special management software with the Windows XP laptop, which is indeed offered for Win7 and newer operating systems, for incurred but substantial monthly royalties. The investment for the hard disk is thus pay for itself quickly.
NOTE FOR INSTALLATION:
I had at the beginning of the installation is always the error:
"PXE-E61:. Media Test Failure Check Cable.
PXE: Exiting PXE Rom "etc.
This error has nothing to do with the SSD, but with the DVD drive! This was actually broken in my laptop and was not detected in the BIOS. Therefore, the system could not boot from the DVD drive. With the SSD, it had nothing to do. After replacing the DVD drive everything worked perfectly.
