Had chosen to travel my tripod for my Canon EOS 550D. I use a Tamron 24-70, a Canon 10-18 and Canon 55-250 on my camera. When I got the package, I was surprised at first, because it was relatively large. When you open it turned out, however, as a number air. The stand was in one corner of the package, the rest was stuffed with paper. From the pack size, I was thrilled. So unpacked and set up quickly. Even the size of the maximum extended tripod I was pleasantly surprised. Even without folding screen was the tripod to use. A closer examination, however, unfortunately, noticed that it still is rather unstable and - despite all the legs were maximally tightened - some play prevails. I was able to wiggle a little "force" with the little finger so strongly on the stand that it would have my Canon 550D with the smallest lens is not held (similar to Kit 18-55) with wind safe. But as I often need it in the mountains or by the sea, where it is naturally always a little windy, this stand does not fit to me. Maximum load of 5kg is by no means realistic and refers perhaps to the spherical head, but not on the legs. If the tripod is not fully extended (center column sunk), then it seems a little (wind) more stable, but it is also a bit too small Weider. I will order the next larger Rollei and this can go back. For photographers with system cameras on trips but certainly a good thing!
