Although I had read many reviews including spoilers before buying the book and was prepared for a lot, I am now but at times horrified disappointed to. Content, I can make friends with the idea to remove the veil from the romantic vampire existence entirely. In the previous books, the bloody reality is indeed touched upon only very briefly - if Edward did not want Bella watched him while hunting or was afraid to have quenched with killing an opponent. In Stephenie Meyer's point, it would have appealed to me in the act include such scenes and weiterzublicken a little. What horrified me so, is the poor "artisanal" execution of the idea. The book is somehow not fish nor fowl, and I do not mean Jacobs chapter. The way gruesome, but is part of the story with details again superficially romantic scenes are linked, acting edgy, immature, sometimes ridiculous. Emotions and passion are described but do not come with me. Details often seem exaggerated, carelessly and badly thought simply written down. (? Must Carlisle eg an X-ray machine at home, the story would have done without it, I'm sure, or the romantic's Cottage -. Great goodness, what is kitsch to this harrowing birth ...) of logical inconsistencies to mention. Then again follow really funny written dialogues that I found so great with the other books, and seem to me very strange in this book. This whole mix also leaves the intentions of the author are not clear - what they really want to say? The idea, to look behind the facade was probably unable to cope in the execution of the author - I'm not sure if she had done it with more time. From fabric ago it would have served for at least two thick books, compared to the first three. Too bad.
