This player currently owns the most extensive facilities of all Blu Ray player on the market.
I had been the problem that I could not at the same time provide a 3D LCD and a 2 D projectors with signals, I have tried a variety of 3D Splitter to a BDP-S 470 as well as a Samsung BD 89000S nothing has worked.
With the 790, everything is different. This player has built two really equivalent 3D HDMI outputs on the back, they can simultaneously output both the signal to a 3D LCD as well as a 2D projector (Mitsubishi) and drive at the same time that is currently thought to be a feature that no other playerin this can have the form, I know at least none. All previously tried by me variants were then by no 3D signal to the 3D LCD. The 3 D image is detected and displayed on the LCD at the same time appears on the projector screen, a text which the Mitsubishi this 3D Blu Ray can not play. So far the LCD can find no compatible 3D Blu Ray and the screen remained black.
Two HDMI outputs only the big Panasonic 500, the Oppo 95 and the big Denon 3313 on board.
Unfortunately I can not use a 4K.
Through this high-quality 4K processor component, thus the normal Full-HD image output falls more out unbelievable. The BDP-S790 also has an excellent video equalizer. Every imaginable imagery brings the player with the best possible (source-based) image quality on the screen or canvas. So a picture you have not yet seen. Here also high end devices can still abschauen something.
From me tested BDs, as Baraka, The Dark Knight or Avatar to see some mention terrific on the big screen and on the LCD from. The picture does not deserve device classes beuogen 10 of 10 points.
The drive is very quiet. Noise can be heard only when reading. (I had a 490, since the 790 was for testing purposes is not in the store, at home.) The drive can not be compared with the 790, here are worlds apart.
The sound is also amazing on the amount of time and for the price.
Also not related device classes 9 out of 10 points.
Only much more expensive high-end appliances from Camp Ride, Arcam, Oppo and Denon etc. offer you even more performance.
The high end devices generally have a high-quality housing in Hifi look. Screwed you on the device and looks into it, then makes diverse disillusionment.
The bone is very clear for that kind of money usually, but quality equipped for a long life time.
If that makes any sense in this dizzying progression time, everyone must decide for themselves. The high-quality processors for the sound do not need more space. A toroidal transformer is looking mostly in vain, here you really have to a T + A device access for exorbitant money.
Sony takes the air out of the equipment and thus makes them thinner and lighter.
Here you have the price and the facilities to weigh up.
Conclusion;
This device is worth every penny and is one in each equipment cabinet well-stocked.
