I ordered me this recipient to connect portable devices without any major problems with an audio source (Logitech Z5500 5.1). But it makes little sense in my opinion, to constantly have to fit various cable and thus restrict portable devices a a basic function - namely, that they are thus no longer portable.
So I was quite pleased with the solution to a receiver via Bluetooth. Mainly there are at with Apple products, be it iOS - or MacOS X Devices. Thus NFC now makes not very interesting to me, however, was tested with the Nexus 7 and approved. Here I've got a connection with each pairing of devices.
Scope of supply:
The scope of delivery is really very appealing and there are very settled good cable. So far I have hardly opened products of cables that need to be considered rather as a feature, demonstrated this quality. Even the device itself time a really good quality and good workmanship.
Connections:
It connects easily and with devices, no matter what system is running on this - be it iOS; Mac OS X; Android or Windows. All devices can be connected without a password and without installing any problems with the receiver.
Making it ideal for the application of portable devices.
On the other hand, can be connected through different terminals without difficulty audio systems and those receiving a good signal. Optical digital as well as digital coaxial were absolutely great with me and taught my stereo system the desired quality. Even the 3.5mm connector, adapter can be operated by the older systems with RCA, showed a good performance.
Of course, time Bluetooth poorer quality as a direct connection via the respective cable or even over WiFi. For me, however, the quality is sufficient to quickly play audio from portable devices.
Signal strength:
One often reads of the 10m who are not reached. This I can not confirm. With the iPhone 5s and the iPad Air, I have sometimes even at more than 10m a signal and the quality is still also not objectionable.
Style:
The design is quite appealing and can be easily integrated into the environment.
Improvement and criticism:
But what I do not like at the device and via which Punk I stumble again and again, is the fact that it can only connect to one device.
It sometimes happens that I connect a Macbook with the receiver, it does not separate and some time later ask the iPhone to the receiver access. Of course, this is not because the Macbook is still connected. In this scenario it goes, but at several potential devices, it may be sometimes that I have to look, which now is connected.
Here I would like to see a change. Since it is a relief for me for a many portable devices.
