Was equipped with the ZBox:
SanDisk SDSSDP-128G-G25 SSD 128GB
Crucial 4GB CT51264BF160B memory (1600MHz, CL11, 204-pin) DDR3-RAM
Windows 8.1 Operating System
After installing all the drivers the performance of ZBox for all applications above-held more than sufficient. Netflix runs in the browser and Silverlight (720p) or as a Metro app (1080p) without a single stuttering. The other streaming services or movies run smoothly. Even surfing the Internet works without major delays.
With the built-in SSD the ZBox powers up within a few seconds and all the applications are started very quickly. To operate, I use an older PS3 Bluetooth keyboard and a Harmony remote with the eigebauten CIR receiver. The Harmony can be set both as MCE keyboard as well as (not supplied) ZBox remote control. By ZBox profile, the box can also be awakened from the S3 state (standby). To do this before the setting in the BIOS are enabled.
The ZBox, thanks to its not quite as potent Celeron processor no thermal problems. After 5 hours of HD material, the temperature was only 50 degrees.
The only (and tiny) noise factor is the very flash, Blue LED, if the box is located directly in the field. However, this may be clamped or taped easily.
If someone is looking for a HTPC, the fully meets the criteria above, I can wholeheartedly recommend the Zotac ZBOX CI320.
