In principle I agree with the words of the pre-reviewers: a very good useful scanner.
The bundled software I have not installed, I use GIMP for editing.
This was with slides from the mid-80s anyway not necessary, delivered by the scanner color values ​​agree very well, the images could be taken. Occasionally the EV value had to be adjusted slightly.

The cleaning staff is a good tool in the case when - as here - about 4,000 slides were scanned in well 1 week. It is inevitable that some slides entrain dirt.

Some slides were slightly thicker than the specified 2.2 mm.
For this you need on the slider on the bottom left easily loosen a few Phillips screws, and already they fit smoothly through.
The ION film 2 SD Plus can work very efficiently, it gives good results with natural colors.
