1) Delivery
The Premium Edition includes the main game and all previously released DLC of Battlefield 3. The Limited Edition (base game + DLC "Back to Karkand") obtained on 2 DVDs, the rest will be downloaded using the enclosed product codes via Origin. Although takes his time, but in my opinion is manageable. Furthermore, one has as a premium player various other benefits such as bonus weapons, advantages in waiting lists etc.
2.) Installation
Due to the existing reviews I was a bit skeptical about the installation terms (snagging the installer at 99%), with me, however, the installation went smoothly. Install the main game, enter code, namely Download DLCs takes some time to complete, but with existing Origin account of expenditure remains low. Only in Battlelog, the multiplayer of Battlefield portal that is represented through the Web browser, it came to me about a problem: When the required plug did not work, both Firefox and Chrome at. Reinstalling the plugin here managed luckily remedy. About this portal all multiplayer games as well as the campaign to be started, the latter will also be started directly, if Origin is in offline mode.
3.) The gameplay
Short Campaign: A 0815 story (elite soldier chasing terrorists Boss and save the population from spoiling) in admittedly great graphical presentation, and been diversified; Of Tank driving over snipers to aircraft encounters everything happens again. Finally, the campaign is a nice addition or an opportunity to become familiar with the game or the control, but no more than you expect from it actually.
The true strength of Battlefield is the multiplayer, and in my opinion the best of his time. The biggest selling point is with me in the variety, especially with the DLCs. So you can deliver either on huge maps tank battles and air battles, or to load the shotgun and CoD style fights to the Close Quarters maps, the Frostbite2 engine offers impressive graphics and almost realistic destruction. The numerous game modes make you want more. Sure you will experience as a beginner some frustration now, but at the latest when you have unlocked the first arms expansion, the motivation is back. In short, the multiplayer mode ensures entertainment for a long time. Furthermore Battlefield offers a co-op, where you have to meet two of six missions against computer opponents. The team spirit is well communicated, but the missions recall despite good Gtrafik to grouse shooting, the fighting could have been designed a bit more varied.
An often criticized point was the performance in online games (server crashes, accession impossible etc). Of these problems but I have not noticed anything, accession and start ran smoothly, Ausfällle are probably due to your internet connection. Only when Koop I had several attempts to start until found a partner and the game was started, of coarse problems but there was no sign.
In a nutshell, the aspects of Battlefield:
+ Varied with many multiplayer maps, modes, vehicles
+ Impressive graphics and effects
+ Reliable Performance in Multiplayer (At least in my experience)
0Kampagne with mediocre story, but in a great presentation
0Etwas eintöngier co-op
True weaknesses of Battlefield I could mention any, but that may be because I am one of the few lucky apparently, where both installation and multiplayer function smoothly. All in all, I would describe the game as quite successful.
4.) Conclusion
Who is a friend of Multiplyershootern, will try to enter one or just want to see a battlefield in beautiful graphics, wonderfully stylish Battlefield. Also price / performance is unbeatable in this edition, here you can strike without hesitation. Problem reports other users are saying you should not put you off completely, because these problems do not have to occur necessarily, or even many solutions are at hand. From me there is a strong buy recommendation.
