So, after a few teething problems (I thought I'm smart and I invite my newer driver from the website, but somehow not easy to install with me, Win7 64bit) it works now with the drivers from the supplied DVD. However is a bit outdated. But no matter. It works.
Sound is great, the device has a pleasant weight, characterized feels valuable and also the workmanship is solid. Practically I find the silver volume knob on top.
It's also great that you have a lot of connections. The Line in / mic input has even also has its own volume control.
The included software is neat, though not spectacular, for example, the additional program Dolby Home Theater is just an equalizer, nothing else ...
All in all a good, satisfactory sound card
