Have "created" by WR1043 behind a Fritz box 7490 over Lan a second wireless network. Thus, this does not depend directly on the Internet but on Lan from my Fritz box. Unfortunately, the user interface for this device was (by the way does not fit the image) only in English and is also not currently have in German. I was after a long try but find the correct settings and the device is working quite well. Wireless performance is better than at the "old" Vorgängerbox Gigaset SE 555WLAN. If even a German user interface is provided, there is still a star more. For use directly on the DSL, there is a great wizard and I think that this will go well with English basic skills.
Setting up the print server for the USB port worked very easy to download software, plug in the printer, turn on, install software detected => Printers and works (including scanners) via Wi-Fi.
I can not say anything yet, because the router is only a week in use on the longevity.
The delivery took a week, Amazon was even faster, in fact you would have to pull it even one star, but the router can not help it ...
