I have in my eye cup lost on vacation in NYC due to excessive rumgefummel this.
I thought to myself, that's no problem, I'm in NYC, which was not the case.
Back in Germany I started to research what eyecup for now would fit on my camera, I took a final EOS 50D and EOS 350D before and pushed their eyecups on my EOS 5D mk. 2, they fit, then I ordered lunch here-reviewed product and is the replacement part, which replaced the original built-up eyecups in the event of damage or Verlustet perfect.
