Better than solo TV

I bought the sound cover to replace my 5.1 surround system (Onkyo TX NR 509 & magnate boxes (sub-set), because I wanted to purify the "Cable and Audio Equipment-situation" in my living room.
Thus the idea: "What can the alternative be?" To spice up the thin sound of my 55ers LG and to dispose of the aforementioned investment.
First alternative: BOSE TV Solo. Bought - unpacked - connected and approved .... But not so good, the sound of any such no BT connection for the existing Android and Apple Devices solace.
So wrapped up and returned it.
On the same day - the DM50 ordered. Then come - unpacked - ... and found it super. Sonically it is for the BOSE in nothing.
BT for iPad and Galaxy S5, etc. without problems. Whether music via Spotify, Radio, TV sound from Sky or BluRay playback - always super. Also, the virtual surround sound is in contrast to adjustable stereo sound well perceptible.
I had the sound deck once placed with the TV on the deck and up the sound deck housed in a cabinet (pure optics). Both set-up does not affect the sound pleasure.
Furthermore, can be selected via the high-quality remote control, as opposed to the plastic of TV FB Solo, the modes for the installation site or adapt (TV sound on deck, sound deck in wardrobe, ...).
In addition, treble and bass can be adjusted.
For example - Batman - The Dark Knight made basseitig great fun and dialogues are clear and fully understood.

I'm not a professional hi, have yet some claim on the sound so that movies and TV seeing and hearing must fit together ...
... And that it is doing with the DM50 definitely.

The housing is very good and stable processes. It applies as always: Colour matter, the main thing black ....

An absolute buy recommendation. Technical failures I can not determine until now.

PS: Thrilling I always find the comments which deduct a star for the missing 5.1 Sound Effect. Because one has not bought. Is buy as Golf CL and complain that it has no torque of 550 NM. ;-)

UPDATE !!!
Hardly written a review, already is plenty described problem.

Until last Tuesday the box worked perfectly. I had a few days earlier of "TV on the SP on a TV furniture - umbebaut> in a compartment of the TV furniture (optical) / switched -. What to I think that is the reason that the SP went out at once.
No standby light to be seen.
Power out - pure power - Further TOT. - I solved all connections and pulled it out of the compartment. I felt the power supply unit on the back panel. It was very hot.
I think here has taken leave something on the board.
I normally let the system cool down. But after re-connection with power the system did not show any reaction.

Conclusion: I'm assuming that the system is very sensitive to heat and good ventilation required. This explains the system crashes possibly specified in the various reviews. As long as the system was on the TV cabinet - I had no problems.
Therefore, I recommend to pay attention when installing in a cupboard for sufficient Beflüftung.

In terms of sound quality no difference was detected. Whether on or in a TV furniture.

Canton. An active fan would trigger my amateur view the problem. ;-)

I'm going to my SP at Canton, to send for repair.

For 2 star deduction - Regardless, the sound still super, while the SP is working.

UPDATE

I had now to send the system to Canton the time. Submitted, with a return slip provided by Canton, on a Friday. On the following Thursday, the unit was back with me. Curious unpacked and here a disappointment ceased. She was posted in new condition packed in original box - - The repaired Sound Plate is scratched on the surface carton with "foam sheet". When connected to the television they immediately did their service.
Today I have complained about the condition. Uncomplicated offered me the support to the return shipping and exchange. The return shipment has been advised me for the New Year, so I decided to return to the New Year move to not over the holidays without "sound" to stand there.
