Because it is bitter - Infernal Devices Style

Some of you may have read some spoilers on the Internet or through Cassie's monthly teasers, But They Do not Come close to the things you want to be feeling When you read the novel.

Are you prepared to cry? Oh, you will! I cried several times while reading Clockwork Prince.
Are you prepared to laugh? You want to laugh as well, reading parts of Chapter 19 made me grin like a fool and burst out laughing (I'll give you a hint, it's about one of Will's obsessions).
Are you prepared to go 'aw' and 'oh' or just swoon in general and be Completely smitten by a (male) character?
This list could go on, but I must not get carried away.
Some questions will be answered right at the beginning, some in the middle (Anyone interested in Will's secret?) And one important question will be answered right at the end.

If you are worried thatthis book will have an evil cliffhanger like Cassie's City of Fallen Angels, well, fret not! Cassie has been rather kind to us, but it will quietly make you want to travel through time to go to the next bookshop or online shop to get your hands on Clockwork Princess ASAP. I dare not think of the whole year did I have to wait for the final installment of The Infernal Devices. Talk about torture!

Some will be very happy with the events in CP and others will probably want to hunt down and Cassie do her bodily harm, or you may just crawl into your bed and cry. I'm not ashamed to admit I did belong to the third category.

Clockwork Prince's main focus is on love. There is the love triangle between Tessa, Will and Jem, but that's not it! Other characters will find love, too and I can imagine did a lot of you will be quite pleased; I know I was!

The novel thus Focuses on friendships (There was one in particular I absolutely loved), Family Ties - whichwill probably become important in Clockwork Princess - and betrayal.

Once you've opened the book, I assure you did it will be quite hard to put it away. You will be captivated by the book's pace and its events, by the endearing characters and the overall 'magic' Cassie has once again created.

I may still need two or three more weeks to fully recover, but I look forward to visiting Victorian London again.

My last pieces of advice to you: read A Tale of Two Cities! There are quite a few parallels and the characters Dickens has created over 150 years ago are all so very likable. Not to mention the fact descriptions of revolutionary France and England are very interesting.
Look at it like this: If Tessa, Will and Cassie love A Tale of Two Cities, there has to be a good reason, right?

My second piece of advice: if you are lucky enough to have the Clockwork Angel reprint with Magnus's Vow, reread that! I dare you not to cry! I bought another copy of Clockwork Angel just to read it!
