Even considering the price it lacks the equipment to nothing: regarding settings standby waiting time, attachment option etc. would require a higher price..
IMPORTANT:
Check Before power consumption with Meter:
- Standby and operating consumption should differ significantly; I do not think that the device is designed for performance differences of less than 10 watts.
- The recognition of the standby consumption assumes that actually all devices in standby. The consumption of the device can vary significantly even shortly after the indicated standby. Some network adapters z. B. recognize only after 30 seconds that they are not needed, and then turn off. If the energy saving outlet during this time learns the standby consumption, it is likely problems later on. When z. B. the connected PC switches to standby and the total decrease by less than the (high) threshold, the connector might turn off unwanted.
- Anticipate yourself if it is worth it - every day you save a standby consumption of 10 watts and 20 hours standby through the plug 73 kWh or 15 to 20 EUR per year.
- Simple calculation formula at 0.25C / kWh:
Annual savings in EUR: [standby power loss in Watt (!)] * [Standby hours per day] / 10
- I would recommend buying from an annual savings of half of the original price, so from about 6 euros.
