Large bowl with easy to read scale. The splash guard is well located, but the recess depending on the ingredients could be even closer. Full "dry" is not about even with the splash guard. ;-) To use the red lid insert a spatula is a nice idea, but you get with a conventional scraper dough but better out of the bowl. Bowl and lid can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher.
