I bought this record, because the offer was low, and I wanted to use the disk in my laptop. In general, the whole is not usually a problem, because the plates in the casings usually have a normal SATA port and a small adapter board to USB.
However, this panel has the USB port directly on the controller board and any standard SATA interface.

Therefore: as an external good usable with acceptable data transfer rates (20-30MB / sec) and is very quiet, not at all suitable as internal.
