A few empirical values for interested parents:
- Punches with this sword hurt only if they are actually carried out with much force. A wooden sword would have by now multiple fingers broken and battered various furniture.
- After more than 5 months, the sword is still perfectly despite heavy usage. Clear are a few small dents in the foam rubber, but the material is found to be excellent robust.
Furthermore, my full recommendation to buy!

Our three year old is excited about knights and castles. After some research, we therefore bought this sword and so after 2 months still very satisfied!
The sword is made of lightweight foam rubber and is surprisingly robust. Junior running order through the apartment, throws it, sits on it and of course fighting with Dad, who can defend themselves only with a cardboard tube. Even more powerful punches do Luckily with this sword barely hurt, unlike wooden or plastic swords.
Similarly, would the furniture, because the fight against various pieces of furniture (= dragon) leaves neither sofas nor on wood furniture any traces.
The sword itself puts such struggles also virtually without a trace off, should only turn to it is not too strong, then it would break. Is it slightly bent, it can be but easily push back into shape.
The pedagogical value of this toy is not to be discussed here. If the youth has no "real" sword, he uses horse mackerel, cooking spoons or cardboard rolls for fighting. This can be in little boys probably not prevent ...
Conclusion: A beloved toy, with which you can let the young sometimes out of sight, without having to worry about the interior.
