For processing:
The all-purpose grater is stable and processed from Kuststoff, which affects in any way the stability. She has several notches ensure secure resting on pots or bowls of all sizes, as well as a handle which fits comfortably in your hand. Unfortunately it has no rubber coating on the ground, so that a standing or slightly tilted use made relatively difficult on a kitchen board.
Taking the grater flat on a dish, is the rub or cut really very comfortable, tilts to the grater but slightly while rubbing / cutting, so you should use a bowl with a secure stand, otherwise they will because of the pressure, which when rubbed / cutting arises from tipping. Here is the first minor blemish of the grater.
After the first grated carrot to discoloration showed by the carotene (dye). This can, however, with oil again remove from the grater
-> A little tip to Mr. President;)
The beta-carotene in carrots is a fat soluble vitamin, so you get almost everything back with clean oil, which comes from carrots tracks ... not only the grater ...
The inserts can be currently quite difficult Remove and Reinsert. But I think that will give over time. Otherwise, this type of storage is really well thought out space-saving and well.
The plastic dries as Knowledge had already described, really badly. If they had been in the dishwasher therefore the same thing happens as with Tupperware containers, they must again be dried by hand.
Overall, the workmanship is good, but not perfect, hence only 4 stars.
Among the different operations:
The blades are very sharp. Therefore can be personalized with the pointed knife itself tomatoes easily cut into thin slices.
Can also choose the knife with which one between thin and thick slices via control is extremely practical. Especially with potato salad, eliminating the need of manual cutting because the thicker setting is ideal for potato slices.
In the small and large rasp you notice any significant differences to cheaper alternative products. But should be noted that, for example, carrots can grate much easier, when you hold the grater slight angle and did not rest on the bowl. As above already here a suitable bowl should be used.
For Leftovers holder:
Personally, I'll probably hardly ever use this, because I for years without hinbekomme :)
For Leftovers holder can but say that it works really well. Whether tomatoes, cucumbers residues or fungi, it lies intersect until the last of all / planing. For harder veggies like carrot application to the teeth is slightly heavier, but quite feasible.
TOTAL: I find the grater handy space-saving and suitable for normal use. I can therefore with a clear conscience.
