Given the bad reputation of this book and the previous reviews describing it as boring and difficult to access, I discussed Japan and ethics of modern Samurai with apprehension ... But I had a lot of fun reading this Hagakure comment which certainly advocates the adoption of a way that falls indeed fanaticism but also forces the interest by its intransigence. I have no competence in philosophy but I find touching intransigence érrigée ideal in the face of modern society which rejects the values Mishima. This is a very interesting book to understand some aspects of Japanese culture.
