1: It starts with the strong driving anthemic stadium rockers "Going out with a bang" 5/5, the quite good loskracht with his frying guitars.
2: the 1.Single is extremely melodic Ohrenschmeichler "We Built This House" 5/5, its addictive chorus and his ballad stanzas seem just made for radio, these are the large Scorpions songs.
3: "Rock My Car" is actually quite rocky though 3/5, but is somehow quite plump therefore, the refrain is repeated Felt hundred times.
4: The Helping on acoustic guitars atmospheric quiet campfire ballad "House of Cards" 2/5 is quite nice, but too boring for me. For me, the weakest song on the album belangloseste
5: In "All for One" 3/5 you continue quite rocky, but also quite mediocre.
6: The hard-rocking "Rock'n'Roll Band" 5/5 is a die-hard rockers earthy old-school, but has that certain something. The 3rd and last real highlight of the album.
7: The catchy easy-fuzzy therefore coming anthemic "Catch your luck and play" 4/5 is a nice sing-Rocker - typical 80's Scorpions
8: The sluggish stomping We Will Rock You-moderate "Rollin 'Home" 3/5 comes with its strangely obtrusive keyboards something contemporary poppy therefore
9: "Hard Rockin the place" 4/5 is then as a typical 80-catchy-Scorpions song, the good mood is preparing again and a reminiscent of the good old days
10: The softener ballad "Eye of the Storm" 3/5 would fit well with the other ballads on Pure Instinct, ne normal solid standard ballad of the Scorpions, they dominate, but is nothing special, no power ballad
11: The rockabilly-inspired number "The Scratch" 3/5 has to offer quite strange but successful harmonies, not great, but an interesting splash of color - somehow ne mix of 70s and modern
12: "Gypsy Life" 4/5 is then finally completed this typical Scorpions-power ballad to which we are all waiting. Although does not come close to the exploits of the band, but is clearly the best of the 3 ballads on the regular album.
The 4 bonus tracks not worth my opinion. The 3 ballads are truly only for the hardcore fans of the band cuddle. The already well-known from the Unplugged album "Dancing with the Moonlight" is served in a rocking version here - in my opinion, the only bonus track of the lights, but it is in secondary use.
The Scorpions-typical 80-Average Rocker "One and One is Three" (Saturn / Media Markt) and "Crazy Ride" (Müller-Chemist) would have been dearer to me than regular bonus tracks than this totlangweiligen Bonus ballads.
The markets pay for the extra bonus track for most fans can buy there. Who would of course have all the new Scorpions songs will be the loser. Actually, from the record company outrageous that there is no way any new Scorpions songs on a single CD to acquire (on the Japanese version, however, are all on it). The I-Tunes bonus track "Delirious", there is also, which is however really irrelevant and negligible.
The last album Sting in the Tail and the associated tour was marketed as a farewell to the band, which of course for album and tour marked a 20% increase in sales, and represented a much higher attention in the press and public. The band claims to the huge success even now but to want to keep going, which also is for me perfectly fine, but it is still has a slight aftertaste. The success would but without the heading "Farewell Tour / farewell album" was just not that great. Although it was not a planned advertising campaign, it has nevertheless helped.
Songs like "Rock My Car", "House of Cards" or "Rock'n'Roll Band" will be committee / leftover from the '80s supposedly. This is now mentioned by the United tape in all media, so that people will think you get here real forgotten pearls on offer from the glorious Blackout / Love at First Sting-time. In my view, again just a tactical advertising campaign is doing, because not every older band does not always dig out old song fragments and these again re-edit and mix with new song fragments. That's walk and add that much is not brand new, but has just been corrected completed only at this current album. "Still Loving You" is supposed to appear from Love at First Sting as 8 years have had under his belt even with. I feel sold by such statements somehow stupid. Especially when the songs were then committee why you are there then no longer be. Or want my men to say that their currently composed songs no longer stronger than the committee of the time ??? - That would be an indictment of its present Kompositioskunst. Sometimes if it were better the Scorpions would simply times keep the cheeky cover and the album as the marketing and promotion of what it actually is - namely a new strong Scorpions album for that no one needs to be ashamed!
