Meanwhile, the Ixus 200iS is our third camera of the IXUS family. As a passionate amateur photographer, with additional large SLR equipment (Canon EOS 40D), I find this little part was just great. For a camera with these dimensions, the image quality is amazing. After thoroughly reading the previous reviews I really doubted whether I should opt for this model. When you have this camera expose something that is already "complain" at a high level. For a compact digital camera with these dimensions, I can simply find no flaw in the image quality. It is not the image quality of a good SLR, but certainly in your category absolute top class. Whether very good shots are in difficult light conditions or flash bracketing in the automatic mode is possible when using the program mode, and one or the other setting adjusts to match the shooting situation, are very good images actually guaranteed. The image stabilization works well in difficult conditions in solid, but is optional and can be switched off. Even its features I can for a compact list nothing missing.
The optional control options via the touch screen are great. If one looks at a few minutes with the manual, it is very fast, "Lord of the operation". Many useful Funtkionen are available, the operation of the camera becomes child's play. For the image quality of the touch panel is top. The HD video recording are the this model which sound and image quality concerns really super. Even on our 40 "Full HD TV, the videos are sharper than anything what puts a digital satellite system to pass. A great feature!
As for processing, I can not find anything on what could best Canon me doubt the quality. It creaks nothing, the workmanship is solid and of high quality, and the price / performance ratio over accordingly.
