This is simply wrong. The videos are saved as .avi. Avi is just a container format. The video compression is mp4 and the sound is μ-LAW compressed. Who the μ-LAW codec has on his PC must enjoy full rich sound. Because a benefit of the μ-LAW compression is the rich bass without overdriving and to possess excellent anyway Quallität at low bit rates. Without the μ-Law codec you get out truly only a faint noise.
