From the beginning:
Supplied with no SD card is included. This is an unfortunate, but common practice. Me personally does not bother, because now enough cards lying around at home and the land anyway regularly supplied mini-card in the trash. Best simply order an SD card. I have an 8 GB card, which is sufficient for this camera at any time.
The enhaltene supplied battery is charged within 3 hours and has a decent runtime. I can not say anything about the durability of the battery to which I have the camera still for a short time in operation.
The camera features:
The camera has several modes:
Automatic mode: here you can just knippsen drauflos, but the Quality of images is quite alright. Minor adjustments but you can continue to make.
Easy Auto mode: The "dummy mode"; an automatic mode in which only zoom and flash can be set manually. Otherwise the keys are locked. Because you really can not go wrong.
Live Mode: A kind of automatic mode in which can be just a few clicks can easily make various settings.
Program Mode: This lets you make a few manual adjustments. What bothers me a bit is that you can not arbitrarily set the exposure time. But what you can is set exposure manually.
In Scene mode, the user between a wide range can be selected (eg Portrait, Landscape, Child, night, beach, foliage, snow, etc.) at pre-set programs. This is the preferred mode of mine. The quality of the recordings is absolutely fine.
Fun Mode: A small selection of different image effects (can not say too much about it because I do not use it)
The video mode delivers videos of very good quality (HD).
Image Quality: As always with the small compact cameras with high resolution (16 MP) in this price range, the image quality in the highest resolution is not as good as one would imagine that. To improve the picture quality, I recommend to turn down the resolution to 8 GP. This is - at least in my experience - the quality of the images improved. I have not tested explicitly for all programs and settings, but turned down the resolution in principle. Every now and then I try to still images with the highest resolution, but make most firmly that the noise here is too high.
CONCLUSION:
Anyone looking for a top camera with excellent picture quality, will not be satisfied with the PowerShot A3300 IS. But who is looking for a budget snapshot camera in which you can do with a few settings ordinary images, is very well served by the Powershot.
