Okay, Music is a matter of taste. However, I do wonder how this negatively judgmental reviewers (justified insufficient) to come to their opinion. Maybe they do not like rock? Otherwise I can not explain it. Icky Thump The White Stripes is simply pure. Jack said, the album would debut as the White Stripes sound. This is true not because no disc of the band as the other sounds, but he meant well: no more piano sounds, but again more guitar! So maltreated Mr. White his favorite instrument to the utmost, to the delight of my acoustic perception. Yes, I'm on guitar! In any case, that would be a good reason, Icky Thump included in the private disk collection, even if you have never heard of The White Stripes - which is highly unlikely, however, if you have not spent the last decade outside of human civilization. This band is simply part of the few that are repeated only in one aspect: they remain true to themselves and this means that they always sound refreshingly different. Anyone familiar with the previous albums, will know exactly what to expect and do not hesitate, Icky Thump to give a place of honor in the CD shelf (of course in addition to the equally excellent predecessors). As enthusiastic supporter I contented myself for my part so, only the video on brand: to have seen new, to name the next day without further audition a good piece my own. Surely a wise decision!
