Terminated connector

Bin always handled carefully. Did the cable pull from my subwoofer, and the black RCA connector pin is broken off and stuck in the socket from Sub. No wonder, because the inside is also made of plastic, and only the outside covered with metal (inferior), but at this price that was clear. Nevertheless, such a thing should not happen. After a long fumbling I had an idea.
If someone sometimes happened: Just a thin nail clamp in a pair of pliers and heat the thin end with a lighter. Then so purely in the plastic of the connector pins, short wait until everything cools down, and then you can pull out easily without breaking anything (except the nail and the already broken pin).
