A fall survived the lamp so far without problems. However, one should deal carefully with the front of the mirror member.
A rubber coating of the lamp body could reduce the risk still that when dropped or a fall of the headlights breaks in my opinion. Such rubber linings are also available for smartphones, for example.
The construction of the holder is to revise my opinion however. Although this can be easily mounted. With bumps and shocks, this, however, tends to tip over, including headlights forward.
