Now the notebook:
Haptic and visual eye candy; Despite high-gloss finish and (unfortunately) glossy screen you see (at least on the housing) surprisingly little fingerprints. The Intel Core i5 offers an excellent working speed, the RAM I upgraded from 4 to 8 GB, it would have been as well as adequately dimensioned.
The hard drive offers the recovery partition (not a double-disk) only one other partition with Windows and all other data also. That's a pity - a separate partition for the operating system would have been quite reasonable.
From the pre-installed applications, especially the Cyberlink software (image, video editing, burning, ...) is to use well; the rest I have uninstalled (Norton, Office Trial).
The battery is equipped with 6 - 7h pleasantly persistent.
Should also be mentioned that the (otherwise very restrained) fan of working out ALWAYS is discreetly active; However, this can be deactivated in the BIOS.
In summary, HP has a solid piece of hardware at a good price thrown (in my 399) on the market, resulting in fallen mainly due to the good build quality and keyboard white and on any case due to the imperative need operating system and an incipient also with other manufacturers warranty policy should be considered unnecessarily through the mud.
