Actually incomprehensible that there is no threaded attachment on the RX100. An ND filter I use very much for filming and photography. To mount a filter so you need a filter for this Sony article. This generally works well. Only when heat should be something to watch out because then the adhesive dissolves and the holder then falls from the camera.
