Life In Technicolor II: ****
Great song (already on Viva La Vida), but with a little singing-voice.
Postcards from Far Away: ** +
Great start, whets the appetite for more ... And then listen too soon again. Too bad! With a heavy heart only 2 points.
Glass Of Water: *****
Great! Beautiful verse and chorus demanding 7/4. Makes you feel good song.
Rainy Day: **** +
Ui! Had to first get used to the beginning. Quite atypical Coldplay. But then really good. Right Coldplay groovy for ratios, but a feel-good song!
Prospekt's March / Poppyfields: ***** +
My absolute favorite on the EP and if you would like to summarize Viva La Vida and Prospekt's March, from both my absolute favorite. Quiet, worn and absolutely "oldschool Coldplay". Brilliant !!!
Lost +: *
It hurts me to give just one point, because I like Lost really. Only Jay-Z ... In my opinion it does not fit together. Sure, a matter of taste ... But I curl every hair when Jay-Z gets going.
Lovers in Japan: **
Great song itself. But where is the change? Have been several opinions heard. From slightly modified text, more voices in the chorus, etc. I can still hear nothing. Maybe gives me someone has a tip? ;)
With minimal changes so that you. It is difficult to hear out makes it MMN no sense to force the new song on the EP
Now My Feet Will not Touch The Ground: ****
Great Song. Again, we hear again the good "old school Coldplay" style.
All in all, a good mix of Coldplay as we know them from the past and the newer, experimental Coldplay-style. Only Lost + brings me unfortunately repeatedly to press the skip button.
