Caution - there are different Axa Cherto models.
The well tested Axa Cherto COMPACT 95 has 8mm chain links and a right lock (as armored cable locks). There is currently a Compact 95 and Compact 130 in those same lengths. Unfortunately missing in Amazon HERE "Compact" in the product name. I got out of cycle deal but the imaged Model "Compact" with this same inscription.
The also tested Axa Cherto 100 (without "Compact") has 10mm chain links, it weighs only 2.6 kg, and has another castle (similar padlock), which did not pass the corrosion test, so overall mark only "sufficient".
When looking at Amazon for "Axa Cherto", you will find the 95er and the 100 and recognize the different castles. You can find further a CH95 Axa from 2012, which in turn has another (padlock) Castle. This CH95 has a negative rating because the textile sheath was untenable. You will find an identical review on idealo from 2013 assigned to Axa Cherto Compact 95, allegedly listed since 2008. I suspect that the idealo review for older CH95 belongs.
The best view in advance on the current models Axa on the manufacturing side AXA Stenman.
First practice:
The chain lock makes me a well-made impression that it closes properly. You have to press the key also to complete. The key is quite lengthy and somewhat sharp - a bit inconvenient if you carry the keychain to open or in the pants.
