After 2 months, I regret to say Brita is better.
Disadvantages:
- Despite all the descriptions I had on every cup of coffee that I have prepared with BWT filtered water, a light "film" as in not properly decalcified water. I notice now the kettle, in which at the bottom an ugly (lime?) Ring has been formed. That was never the case with Brita. And no, the cartridge was changed of course.
- BWT are magnesium from the water. The taste is a disadvantage rather for me. In my opinion, tasted the coffee with the previous water filters aromatic or "natural".
- The pot drips when pouring something
- Brita cartridges there are in almost every supermarket. BWT one searches in vain if you do not want to buy here or times fast replenishment needs.
BWT but also has advantages:
- Priced slightly more advantageous than Brita Maxtra. However, only slightly.
- The digital display indicating the filter changes and the number of water fills something more meaningful than the display of the competition, which counts down the time only.
When my starter pack with 4 cartridges runs out, I'll probably my Brita water filter reactivate. Too bad!
