finally a successful OS

- Installation: hassle free and fast
- Driver support: amazingly well! up on an X-Fi sound card and a scanner ALL was detected during setup.

- 64bit compatibility:
only get the right hardware drivers.
Software makes zero problems. Also all games work so far!

- Functionality: many detail improvements, only gripe: the Windows Explorer is still outdated and impractical

Conclusion of 10 weeks Terms:

Positives: compatibility, stability, simplified desktop use, speed, play media of all types, usable backup tools, system restore

Negatives: partly getting used folder structures (but only unfamiliar), network setup is not as usual and thus partly quite tricky (at least if you "do not Win7 computer" will incorporate), Windows Explorer is still out of date, integrated packer is no good, no mount ISO images (just burn)

Except for the familiarization in the folder structures and network setups, however, all the other ills can easily stop using freeware. Install 7Zip, Gizmo (Mounting an image), Avast Antivirus ... and then basically everything is already perfect.
The File Explorer is always a matter of taste, I use here the total commander. Although is not freeware, but worth every penny.
