It is important that the LP already represented a very good reception. This CD edition gains through the remastering within the possible to without is applied too thick in the bass range. Except for the above mentioned songs is a lot of material, even if the "Crime of the Century" is very strong. Better than one of the Best of-New Albums Live Mittschnitt is all.
There the live review of the complete Supertramp of "Breakfast in America" in the past. Also well represented are pieces from the "Breakfast i. A." and -as said- "Crime of the Century".
The album comes from the absolute (short) wedding band in which you got full stadiums. The room for interpretation against the studio albums is very tight sized - usually the pieces differ little (nothing short of revolutionary, the recording of "Two of us").
With this album, a trip into the past is possible: Roger Hodgson was still on board.
Playing tips: School, From Now On, Two of us, Crime of the Century. Like these pieces - like the rest equally. Musically fine, clean and varied popular music is offered.
What is missing is the DVD release (it because images are).
The called "flaws" are not enough, in my view, however, for a star deduction for this issue.
Supplement 2012: There are now images to buy - on DVD or Bluray. "Another Man's Woman" and "Give A Little Bit" are also out. Very very nice ...
