Battery is exactly the same as original built into my MBP mid 2009. Even the cardboard packaging seems to be original Apple. Add to that this characteristic smell, which one knows from unpacking various Apple products.
Only the plastic pull tab had a kink in it, but what the function of the battery brings no disadvantages.
Start Capacity are coconutBattery with me with 5890 mAh and the battery was 50% loaded during installation. Charging cycles are initially zero.
However, the installation was a bit tricky because of the Tri-Wing screws ... but it works with a 1,4x50 Precision screwdriver (flat) quite well.
Conclusion: original goods, well possible with irrelevant, cosmetic ailments at an unbeatable price. Buy!
Addendum after 8 months of operation:

After 8 months of operation showed the following behavior: battery is fully charged the power supply. > PSU deducted: computer went out immediately. > Computer starts with power supply. > Battery indicator at 0% with status message "Replace Now"
Until now, the thing ran without problems. What are the shortcomings, we can only speculate. Either Overlay offered or successful fake from the Far East
Subsequent exchange at Apple, however, after installation no longer possible, so be careful!
