The gray socks:
Fortunately, I have followed the advice of the previous reviews and ordered the socks one size smaller. Actually, I wear a size 40 and now they have ordered in 35/38. Now they fit almost perfectly. Unfortunately, the support effect is where it matters the least - namely the ankle. But they are at the top of the calf very firmly (and I have quite slim calves).
All in all, the supporting effect but good and I do not have heavy legs more. The varicose vein is no longer since I wear the stockings hurts.
Now black for color:
When unpacking the bestial chemical stench would have me almost staggered into a coma.
So off it goes into the washing machine. After the first wash is still the same. I have the good socks 5 times with wash and they smelled still unchanged after chemistry.
Then I simply conveyed times for 2 weeks to fresh air, in the middle of the popping spring sun. But even that could absolutely not do anything against the stench.
Conclusion: From order in the dustbin. I do not know what carcinogenic dyes have come here to use.
I've now through Amazon black support stockings another manufacturer ordered with whom I am very satisfied. And even when you unpack it smelled nothing here.
To summarize, I would therefore give the gray stockings a more positive assessment.
The black stockings however, were with me unfortunately just good enough for the dumpster .... shame.
