The workmanship is typical Manfrotto good but nothing outstanding. With a 4/600 Tele the strap is slightly congested and prone to slight vibrations. For the very serious Supertele not the best choice. But you can still use it well, it helps to have an image stabilizer. With lighter Teles is doing better. The suspension is not exactly at the focus of the lens (4/600), it swings too far up or down tilts the whole of itself. Normally this would just stop in any position. The friction for the up / down swing is adjusted by the two screws connecting the two temples. When friction for the rotation of an Allen screw needs to be solved, which is when I tried so hard that I bent my Allen key. It would be nice if Manfrotto would have built a small vial so you can see if the whole is in the balance. But something you can buy more. All in all I am very pleased, for the money I think there is nothing better for a long telephoto lens, you can move all of a finger. The alternatives all cost at least twice, or even more.
