After my TV, a tubular device, a few weeks ago was broken, I decided to buy rather than repair a new modern flat screen.
Since I no longer wanted to operate with the old analog receiver this new TV, I have also replaced the receiver directly.
Temporarily I wanted to buy myself a small and handy receiver because I could at the time of purchase from the TV not decide which larger receiver I'll buy myself for the TV (now I have the Kathrein UFS bought this 922; see review) ,
The Comag SL 25 I have therefore provided for the second TV and in the event of repair of the larger receiver as a substitute.
The Comag SL 25 has only one Scart connector, with whom I have this connected to my new Panasonic flat screen. The image is hervoragend. The operation is very simple and the menus manageable. The software is very stable. Nor can quickly select the Programs list. A warming of the receiver is hardly noticeable.
Very quickly is the teletext. The pages are constructed very quickly. However, I have with the Panasonic TX-flat L32S20ES had the problem that the upper and lower edge of the side, were so even where the numbers entered are normally visible, not shown. Only the middle part of the side is visible.
In the second TV, a small tube device, the page is but to see the full extent and as already mentioned, the structure is extremely fast.
The Zweitferseher also has only one scart connection, so that complement the equipment. The presence of only one Scart connection is therefore not a disadvantage.
But what bothers me is the lack of speaker jacks to transfer the sound to a stereo system. As a secondary device although there is no need. But if the big receivers in repair needs that has this ability is at the Comag SL 25 this possibility does not exist. A major disadvantage of this is however not, since this state would be temporary.
Why did I deducted a star is to mention as a reason the remote control. The remote control does not always constant. Time a button will only react with delay times directly twice in a row. It may also happen that one must fairly close approach to the receiver in order to obtain the desired result.
But otherwise a very good device - software-well thought out - and especially recommended as a very Zweitgrät.
