I have decided purely on cost grounds for TriZone 1000. The Professional Care 1000 was more expensive at this time. Both are identical! I use basically the round brush (not the TriZone brush). So I can not say anything about this brush.
Every 30 seconds one feels a brief shake, indicating that you should clean the next quadrant. After 2 minutes, shaking it a little longer, which means that it's over. Of course, the brush is running then still further and shake again every 30 seconds. But I hardly think that such a "watchdog" is really necessary. It bothers me more.
The cleaning performance is brutal as opposed to an old (predecessor) 500. I have specially still an old first - put brush to make it milder for the start - partly worn. Nevertheless, I had the first brush feel as if I would have missed the dental professional tooth cleaning with the acid powder (Airflow). Unlike a new 500 (which we also have in the budget), the difference is not so serious, but still noticeable. However, you can easily get used to it.
Those who have never had an electric toothbrush may be with the 500 better off because this is a bit milder. However, it is also a matter of habit. On the other hand, one can also extra mild (low Abrassion) toothpaste (eg Elmex sensitive RDA = 30, or Sensodyne RDA = 50-60) buy and extra sensitive brush heads, if it is too brutal in the beginning. Tried on the back, however, one has the impression that the 500'er could better clean since the vibrations can be felt more. But this is inevitable: the faster, the sooner you get the impression that the device stops almost.
Basically, the cleaning performance the same as that of the 3000 and 5000 as well. Only the battery in 5000 lasts longer. The 1000, however, has no (unnecessary) gimmicks and no different cleaning programs. Only one optical Andruckwarnung if you press too hard on the brush. This works very well and is also very visible (even without mirrors because very bright).
All in all, for people who want to have the best cleaning performance and very few gimmicks, the mE best electric toothbrush from Oral-B. However, whether the high additional cost 500 is just, I doubt it. The 500 is enough for those who want to spend less money, completely out. Here again, the battery is running about the same as in the 1000 and also at a constant speed and this shaking every 30 seconds. Only the optical Pressure sensor is missing. And there are just "only" 20,000 to 40,000 pulsations pulsations in 1000 (3000 or 5000). But even that was good enough.
Since (except for sonic toothbrush) all other brushes are also attached to the TriZone, there I no vote across the brush itself. Here everyone can own the plan put what he likes best. There should be something for everyone. The choice is certainly very large.
