Irrefürende information!

Using the example of Sony Xperia Z2 (width 73 mm) I can say that the support for large, or Current smartphones with 5 "or is completely unusable more.

1. 73 mm width are much too large, the corners of the smartphones would no longer lie in the gummed areas.
2. The height of 147 mm at Z2 can not mount the affairs although nowhere is something of the maximum unit height. I guess devices up to 130 mm would probably. still go, but something no modern high-end smartphone more.
