Goodbye there - Prix Goncourt 2013 (Paperback)

Customer Review

It actually comes with a dune tragedy inevitable end on the rubble of the First World War. The author puts nearly 300 pages to install the plot which is a bit long, which nevertheless allows to know well the protagonists of the story and the mood of the times and social pressures needed to make the story believable. The whole is enjoyable to read, well written. Author mastered well the historical context which makes the plot quite realistic. In this period of commemorating the centenary of the "great war" is a book that makes you want more den.
