I have even collected with Senseo coffee pod machines experiences because my in-laws the previous model had a time. By design, I can really convince these Kaffeepadmaschine. It is really easy and works through the stylish, dark blue very high (genrell I find it very chic that it gibt- this machine in so many lively colors as the coffee you can purchase suitable for kitchen color). I like it very well that the catch basin is relatively large and the coffee spout height is adjustable. That has always bothered me as the predecessor model, I never got my Jumbo cups underneath gequetscht- while I drink coffee only from the greatest possible cups. An absolute plus point at this point.
Where something was sloppy, the water tank. Really only a very narrow range, in which you can fill with water, the clean is proving to be cramp. This was, for example, in the Petra dissolved much better. In addition, all acts something lavede when I put the tank into the device back as the transitions from the tank to the device would be far too patchy. It has certainly not feel that includes something suitable. What I find also optimally are the two pod holder. One for 1 pad and another for 2 pads. So you have two Padholder wherever one has to fly in the unused kitchen rum. Something bothers me about products gewaltig- unused fittings for which one must make room in the kitchen. If you do not develop a pad holder of both may be in one? If at the Petra indeed possible. Otherwise, I always drink my coffee so that I 2 insert pads and the same press me on the 2 cups button and a cup underneath place (then the normal sized cup also at least fully).
These are all minor points before falling to me immediately when you unpack the eye. In use, the Senseo can convince again. I do not find too loud, do not bother me the few seconds that you have to wait between two Kaffeeaufgüssen (is in another machine otherwise) and the little red light I find very classy. However, what I find very negative is the water that remains after brewing in the pod holder. This has already bothered me in the predecessor model.
All in all, the Senseo Viva Cafe a solid pad machine, but as an experienced Padtrinker and Petra lovers can not inspire me. It is definitely much better than the previous model in which you could not even set an espresso, but there are still many shortcomings in it, are a reason for me, this pad machine not to buy. For only about 20-30 more there are clearly better models on the market that even have an integrated Milchaufschäumanlage (see the Petra), which I can recommend ... more
2.5 star therefore for Philips Viva Cafe. I round here on, however, because it does what it should do.
And a little insider tip from me: no coffee taste as good as the Dallmayr!
