How is it acceptable that a handful of Scots to make incredibly good music is able? What had the food, as were the educated, what kind of music played in her parents 'home' these and other questions go to me always through my head when I'm trying to understand how they manage it. I have already heard Mogwai and knew therefore that they are responsible for already a couple of really great songs. But every previous album also dragged always a little ballast around with songs to which you can easily do without and simply skips while listening. That's simply not the case on hardcore because every shot is a hit! My goodness, what can be found for mercilessly fantastic music, what kind of irresistible melodies here! This album was created by truly exceptional artists who seem as unlikely to be another band in a position to know instinctively what sound layers can be combined to have created a piece of music after another at the end of which any lucky guy who eh Mogwai-affine already was or exactly this publication was really attentive to the Scots for the first time, chasing happiness endorphins through the bloodstream. I love Rano Pano, I adore Death Rays and How To Be A Werewolf and George Square Thatcher Death Party me think of a more appropriate superlative more.
I was not, as one of my Vorrezensenten, already biased, so imagining to be relatively objective approach to this review. The next Mogwai album that should look different.
