6x blanks, the contact with the 12x burner, actually used to 8x

I have long wanted, but no blanks with an indication of 6x found. This is all the more surprising because currently burners are sold with 12x and 16x.
For my newly purchased Asus BW-16D1HT (16x BD-R SL) I first used the Verbatim BD-R SL LTH Blu-ray blanks (6x speed), but could here with the specified 16x 6x the capabilities of the burner neither the Read more to understand when writing. Now I've done with this HTL blanks writing and reading tests and could bring 25 billion bytes (23.85 GB =) in exactly 11:59 minutes on the blank and are 34MB / sec and thus 8x!
During the subsequent reading of the data, the device also up a gear now higher and reached for large files 36 MB / s, and thus the limit of 8x, but not more.
